    I agree on ABFRL, NBFCs as well. I will also add stocks that will be beneficiaries of GST like Ceramics, Plywood, Logistics etc.

    'Buy and Forget' is not as straight .. but over long term I like Maruti ( large stock ), Max financial ( Mid cap.. believing merger with HDFC Life is on ) and LT Foods ( small cap) .

    I think L&T can be buy and forget bet.
    This is a diversified conglomerate with exposure to many businesses.
    Engineering, finance , IT
    Even if there is a slow down in one sector some other sector will perform.

    Another can be kotak mahindra bank. Very trustworthy and high quality management with good business acumen.

    dhfl is good housing finance considering its variety customer base, its avg loan size is 24 lacs targeting middle class buying flat and building house
