    Manpasand Beverages Limited (Manpasand) is a fast growing fruit drink company, with a primary focus on mango fruit drink, which is the leading flavor for fruit drinks in India. It has manufacturing facilities in Varanasi, Vadodara and Dehradun. Manpasand manufactures and markets fruit drink brands such as ‘Mango Sip’ and ‘Apple Sip’. It has introduced new products recently including ‘Fruits Up’ (fruit drink with higher fruit content and carbonated fruit drinks) and ‘Manpasand ORS’ (an ORS based fruit drink). The company commenced operations in 1997. It is promoted by Mr. Dhirendra Singh, a first generation entrepreneur who has more than 15 years of experience in this business. Manpasand primarily focuses on semi-urban and rural consumers and it has priced its products competitively and available at various price points/sizes.

    Manpasand Beverages Ltd. (MBL) is a fruit drink manufacturing company based in Vadodara, Gujarat. Mango-based fruit drink ‘Mango Sip’ (with ~12-14% mango pulp content) is its flagship brand which is focused towards customers primarily based in semi urban and rural markets. The company also offers fruit drinks in apple flavour (Apple Sip) under the ‘Sip’ brand. In July 2014, MBL launched ‘Fruits Up’ brand to further expand its product portfolio. Under the ‘Fruits Up’ brand, it offers differentiated carbonated fruit drinks with real fruit content and further, it offers fruit drinks with a relatively higher fruit content (~16-17%). In July 2014, with a focus on North East India market, MBL launched ‘Manpasand ORS’ brand of fruit drink with energy replenishing attributes in apple and orange flavours (~10% fruit content) and rehydration salts. The company also commenced marketing of ‘Pure Sip’ brand of bottled water in July 2014 with a view to gain a foothold in the bottled water market.

    After a lull of five years, a fast moving consumer goods company is tapping the initial public offer (IPO) market. Vadodara-based Manpasand Beverages is raising Rs 400 crore through a fresh issue of shares. The offer represents around one-fourth of the paid-up capital of the company.
