TV Today network is held by masters like Ramesh Damani and Radhakrishna damani.
They are a dominant player in news space and most probably they will maintain their dominance it for next 10 years.

i would like to have some inputs on following points:

1)How do you see earning trajectory for this company for next 10 years ?
2)Digitization impact on its revenue and profitablity ?

    Quantitative Views:-

    1) Compare at its PE 15 with Industry PE 36 (standalone)
    2) Zero Debt
    3) Cash Flow makes sense to me.
    4) Dividend paying company.

    Qualitative Views:-
What do I say? Business Today, Aaj Tak, Headlines Today, India Today need no introduction and needless to say that they will be able to survive till next 100 years.

    Legends are invested.

Digitization is supposed to be a "game changer" for the entire Media Industry and it is supposed to reap "windfall gains". This is explained in detail in a research report by Motilal Oswal, ICICI-Direct and KPMG. However, there are big challenges to the entire process and so far it has not lived up to the potential. This is explained in an article in Business Standard and in a report by Deloitte. Deloitte says that Digitisation has failed to show increase in ARPUs so far.

There is also the risk of the 12-minute advertisement cap imposed by TRAI. The matter is presently sub-judice before the Delhi High Court.

But despite all that, one first principles, the stocks provide an investment opportunity owing to their entry barriers, brand image, low debt/ debt-free status etc. If Digitization does give the benefits as envisaged, then that will be the icing on the cake!
