Sugar industry

Sugar industry of UP is not in a very good state. Manufacturers are finding it difficult to pay sugarcane prices and then sell sugar at the prices they do. Most of all, sugar from Brazil boasts of similar if not better quality at lesser prices than ours. Does anyone here see any positive movement in this industry?

 

From investment point of view only diamond in this sector is EID PARRY,south based company ,strong parentage of muruguppa group,60 % holding in fertilizer company means base business is almost available free,severely undervalued.
Holding from last 18 months,severe underperformed,only hope when cycle turns,multiplies return in single year.
