Basant maheswari bullish on housing finance . which r ur bets?

BM told if you want to become rich , buy housing finance . which are ur bets?

 

I think Repco and DHFL are best stocks because Repco is established with high ROE and DHFL is very cheap valuations of < 1 PBV.

 

sroutaji i too like repco . also GIC housing and canfin.
can we become rich by investing in these co.s?

 

These are compounding stocks if we can get 15% to 20% CAGR we have be very happy.

 

Go for basket buying, ie invest in many compnies of this sector ie three or four good compnies,it is better to settle for average returns from a good sector than to specific bet ,which may go wrong due to reasons Unkown presently.DHFL,LIC,GRUH,Repco, India Bull housing,GIC and even HDFC on crack are good bets.I am spreading my bets in this sector to avoid stock specific risk,presently I am invested in DHFL LIC housing and GIC and may spread bet on more.

 

the budget provision to give addnl deduction of 50,000 for hom loans will give good stimulus to this industry.

 

I am invested on DHFL....It is the best bet as per my valuations...
