Think again about ChamanLal Sethia , Hercules Hoists and Mahindra CIE.

How about slowly adding "Gujarat Minerals Development Corporation Limited" (GMDC) around its Book Value or may be VST Tillers at current level?

    Goodluck :)

There are many companies which have corrected sharply...so look at few blue chips like ITC, ICICI, PSU banks, MM Finance, well managed mid cap IT ... I really don't know much about Chamanlal Sethia, Hercules but don't put more than 10% in any single stock and if you put a high amount be damn sure its going to do well....Mahindra CIE has a strong pedigree and wide reach, Yes Bank is also a good stock... ...at least try to ensure that 50% of your portfolio are blue-chips, quality mid caps

4.Buy Mahindra CIE; target of Rs 260: ICICIDirect.com

Read more at: https://www.moneycontrol.com/news/recommendations/buy-mahindra-cie-targetrs-260-icicidirectcom_1332749.html?utm_source=ref_articleMahindra CIE Auto is a unique case of valuation considering the massive

turnaround possibilities. We expect utilisation levels to improve leading to
EBIT margins rising to 8% and RoCE expansion to ~15% in FY17E. We
expect dividend payout of ~30%, in line with CIE’s philosophy of high
dividend payouts (~30-50%). CFOs are also likely to balloon to ~| 700-
    800 crore (FY17E). We value MCI at 10x FY17E EV/EBITDA multiple
(~25% discount to Bharat Forge), considering its steady turnaround in
operations. Our target price of | 260 implies an upside of ~29%. We
    continue to recommend BUY.

there are no negative :'(for mahindra cie other than pe roe roce all parameters are not good.
if i swich to another any midcap stock good moat and high value .

this may correct and i don't want more pain :-\ i saw in mahindra cie which was down to 184 :(
so saw dawnside like to see upside ;D (atleast some) ;)

there can be no metrics for Mahindra CIE for last 5 years because it came into existence last year. It has been formed after Mahindra Forgings, Mahindra Ugine merged with CIE Automotive of Spain. I agree its not a very profitable company because Mahindra Group was facing many challenges in their automotive business. With the merger and new promoter coming in there is likelihood of turnaround as the promoter group streamlines business, benefits of synergies in Europe arise. So I think this is good turnaround. The market has factored the good news in the stock price but I think the company in its new form is very promising, especially because it has access to large European markets.
Agri based stocks have always been wealth destructive in general, whereas agro-chemical and input stocks have created more wealth. I generally do not recommend such stocks because of their direct impact on soil fertility , environment, etc. So if you want to invest in agri related stocks invest in agri input not agri produce stocks.

One stock that has seen strong gains over the past one year has been Mahindra CIE. The stock has risen 20 % in the last 6 months alone and a whopping 166 % in the last one year. Bloomberg TV India’s, Swati Khandelwal Jain caught up with Hemant Luthra, Chairman, Mahindra CIE and began by asking him what is working for the company.

    Auro pharma
    Citi say's on 12 March 2015
Management Meeting Takeaways: Improving US Pipeline, EU
Turnaround to Drive Growth & Re-rating. Top Mid Cap Pick.
    Buy Price (12 Mar 15) Rs 1,117.25
    Target price Rs 1,945.00
    Expected share price return 74.1%

    Valuation
We value Aurobindo at Rs 1,945. Given that pharma is a growth sector, we use P/E
as our primary method to value the base business of pharma companies. We value
    Aurobindo's core earnings at 20x Mar'17E FDEPS - a c15% discount to the target
multiple of 24x that we use for sector leaders and in line with the 18-20x range we
use for its mid-cap peers such as Glenmark and Cadila. Aurobindo now compares
favorably to its mid-cap peers on multiple operating and financial parameters and
should therefore re-rate to trade in line with the latter over the next few quarters, in
or view. At 20x Mar'17E FDEPS, we arrive at a target price of Rs1,945 per share.

    Risks
The key risks that could impede the shares from reaching our target price are: (1)
Execution hiccups in turning around the acquired EU businesses from Actavis; (2)
Inability to scale up utilization levels at the Hyderabad SEZ, as planned; (3) Any
delay in products approvals especially in the US could hurt scale-up.

    Bank of America Merrill Lynch
    on 20-02-2015 Buy with Target .... 1430.00

Aurobindo Pharma Target Price: Rs 1707 Potential upside: 54% Rationale: With its multiple growth levers in place is set to witness a rampant growth phase over FY15-FY19E dependent on unfolding of its heavily ramped up ADNA portfolio in US, foray into US OTC markets, strong footprint in the EU markets, a CS portfolio targeting addressable market of USD 500mn, a germinating injectables pipeline and a broad spectrum peptides business unfolding in longer run, providing a stark essence to Aurobindo's non-institutional business.
