    Hi experts,
Just wondering what is the secret to get your bid successful during the pre- market open rates, sometimes some stocks rise as much as 20-30% during the opening, even though i bid many times I was never successful by the time the markets open the price of the stock is already 20-30% high.

    any guidance

    Thanks

I think the solution is to place a "market" order, i.e. one where there is no price limit. However, this is not allowed in several brokerages. Kotak Securities, for instance, permits an "After Market Order" only with a price limit. The other solution is that you anticipate what the price is likely to be and put that as the limit.
