I wrote an email to them on share buyback plans as from 1st October 24, buyback will completely loose their sheen post announcement in union budget in July 24.
So, the window is between now and 1st October to complete the buyback for maximising the returns to promoters and shareholders…
Q1 25 presentation still talks of buyback !
Yet to hear from them.
Also, I think wider participation of shareholders and analysts can be achieved through quarterly concall, need to write to them on this also.

Only Caveat is if you are going to introduce a discussion on a stock, we expect you to do your homework and start the thread with some basic info-set, and 1st level analysis such as growth drivers, a few positives & negatives, immediate triggers if any, and enumerate some RISKS. Nothing very heavy is required, but enough to set the tone for 2nd level of discussions.

I am referring to the downside where expected acquisition and demand don’t come through with high debt.
I would like this risk as long as upside is excellent. But looking at cash positions, within 5 year timeframe, does not seem there is any FCF left to Owners.
Do you think I am being overly pessimistic?

In a setback for mining operators, the Supreme Court on Wednesday allowed states to collect past dues on royalty on mineral-bearing land from Centre, mining companies from April 1, 2005 onwards.
The decision came while Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud was pronouncing the verdict of the nine-judge constitution bench on whether its July 25 verdict upholding the power of states to levy tax on mineral rights and mineral-bearing land will have a retrospective or prospective effect.
It further stated that the payments have to be staggered in 12 years. The SC also directed states to not impose penalties or tax for past demands. “The time for payment of demand for tax shall be staggered in installments over a period of 12 years commencing from April 1, 2026,” it said.
Setback for mining operators, bonanza for states
