Nithin’s Portfolio (12-06-2024)
My notes
Not all sectors are free to hide
If you see valuations of capital goods, power, infrastructure, psu, railway’s doesn’t give me any comfort to enter them…
Of course there are certain stocks that might do well but the big question here is
Will FII or DII buy such expensive companies?
They too will think and calculate the risks and upside left for the stock…
Of course if any HNI or DII/FII has bought this stock at a far very cheap price they would tend to average at some correction
But what about those who are waiting on sideline?
From sectors point of view I see
Auto
Chemical
Pharma
Are still normal to cheap level depending on each company.
Defense is a big opportunity however what are in defense
Drone
Anti Drone
Radar
Aerospace
These would do definitely well

Value-add target in new PLI scheme for electronics manufacturing may double
Good news for EMS sector-One more PLI expected (4th in series )
In a move to deepen manufacturing in electronics in India, the Centre is targeting 35-40 per cent value-addition through the yet-to-be launched production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme for electronics components, sources in the government told Business Standard. This target implies doubling of value-addition from the current levels of 18-20 per cent in the case of electronics manufacturing through various incentive schemes.

Number of public shareholders increased by 500% in last one quarter from 6k to 38k. Looks like a pump and dump story in fact.
Negative operating cash flow, company never generated any cash flows from operations.
Lot of related party transactions. Rents and loans to directors.
Promoters stake is down almost by 20% in last 4 years. Announced another right issue recently.

Buy Unlisted Shares (12-06-2024)
Brothers, I have 1000 unlisted shares of Vikram Solar. Till recently, the website from where I buy these shares has been after me to buy (more) at arount ₹250. Their argument was that the company had sold some equity at ₹180 to some investor, so it will not go down from there. It did.
The current price is around ₹220.
Now I have received a notice of their Extraordinary meeting where the company is offering these shares in many lakhs per such ‘non-promoter investors’ at ₹122.
My question is about legality of the company’s action. If it is offering at a certain price to some investors, shouldn’t it do the same in the case of all ‘non-promoter investors’? The question is about legality of the company’s action.
The company is coming out with IPO soon, their DRHP has been filed. So, before the IPO it sells to some entitities at ₹122, and may well come out with the issue at a much higher price. Clearly a case if undue enrichment?

They are currently working on diversifying the business away from the usual end user industries. Which increases their terminal value and makes them less volatile. Optionalities have increased which should be something a Long term investor should like
