@Ninad_Divekar You said that you are doing momentum strategy on smallcap 250.
Is your list significantly different to mine?
Do you also do your rebalance on weekly basis?

@Jitesh31 I have said it previously in this thread or the microcap momentum pf thread. Please look at message number 200. You could simply start with price change. Rank stocks on the basis of price change over a 1 year or 6 months. That’s it. You can start like this.
I am a SEBI certified Equity Research Analyst, If your horizon is 10-15 years, you may focus on small and midcap, out of 30K, you can use considerable fund, then a flexi cap, diversification also very imp, you mentioned a index fund, but as per your risk apatite diversify equity and fixed assets (Debentures) funds, like 60% equity 40% (Debentures) fixed assets, so that in tough times of market your portfolio is well balanced compared to benchmarks in which you invest.
@LarryWink It is evident that you are trying to marry momentum with fundamental investing. They don’t do together.
I had huge problems with exits and that is one of the main reason, I chose to go with Momentum investing. This runs purely on the basis of system; no emotions attached. If the system asks you to drop a scrip, you drop it because a stronger one takes its place.
If you are still looking for exit signals, you can look at 21 period EMA where as long as the price is above the EMA line, you are ok. Another signal could be PSAR.
I feel quant mf is the top fund. Quant small cap, quant manufacturing and infra funds are doing good.
Quant is top performer in all the sector with top ranking also. Small cap have 5 yr cagr of 39 percentage.
I have follow some stock advisory services and quant small cap beats all most all advisory services.
@RajeevJ It is richly valued if seen in isolation, but how do you see it in comparison to peers (say other shoe companies in retail)? At the surface, their Asset turn, and ROCE seem far better.
Hi Ashish,
Thank you for the detailed explanations on the registration process. It is really informative. I am also looking to get registered as research analyst. Do u have any sample formats of those declarations and those policies that have to be uploaded. Could you please help me out. It would be really helpful. Thank you in advance.

I had a few questions regarding the recent independent director flux. Does anyone have any insight on these points?
Just put everything in Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund and forget the rest. One fund is enough for both small cap and international diversification.
The problem is the title/lease given by the MBPT to the tenants, its a complex issue and there are many court cases pending relating to the same for various property provided on lease by MBPT. MBPT has also came out with retrospective rent hike from 2012 which is being challenged by many tenants and pending before the bombay high court. Because of this giving a fair value to the land and monetizing it is really very difficult as the intent and policy of MBPT is not rational and has many hurdles. The company has also made disclosure in the financial statement under contingent liability.
