JBM won 1390 bus orders in the first tender of PM E-sewa (3600 buses), there is no update from the Olectra regarding this tender. any body know who won the balance bus orders?

CESL released another tender for another 3132 buses in PM E-Sewa program.

Addition of one more player in this space although being funded by a gov org it will be difficult to penetrate this market at a much later stage and compete with the tech and databases they have developed over the years

This gives us a signal before hindsight that the space still has a room to grow

3 weeks ago my wife and I came back from our first holidays in Mexico and we fell in love with the country – so much that we’ve started considering investing in a house or an apartment over there.

The plan would be to treat it as a vacation home for 3 months out of the year and rent it out for the remainder of the time.

However, the whole process seems a bit overcomplicated for us (or maybe we’re just being too cautious) because according to a couple we met at our hotel, we can’t buy a property close to the shore unless we get a local bank involved in the deal. This is what put them off any investment as well. I came across What is the Restricted Zone in Mexico for Buying Property? this article which seems to confirm what they said.

We wanted to get a property in either Tulum or Playa del Carmen and I was wondering if there’s anyone with any first-hand experience of getting a property in the said restricted zone, and whether this process is safe for foreigners at all. Also, any opinions on whether such investment is even a good idea are highly welcome.

Update

Sold Zee and Lux completely at loss of 30% combined. Added proceeds to UPL at same price as above, holding Zee was a mistake I guess even post merger cancellation while could have booked 60% profit and exited in hindsight 2 months back. Lux sold with 45% loss, yes it seems to be at good price point currently to average down but somehow felt UPL is better bet for now, could get back into Lux if any cash buildup is there. UPL now is 4-5% position on cost basis and could also add more

Portfolio at meagre 18% green overall. KMB, HDFC, CUB all are flat and they form 35-40% position
