The only issue is, this company shares are not available for buy. It has been same story since 2009. Don’t know why it is listed.

How much of equity allocation is in this strategy? Did you backtest with just smallcap stocks?
Don’t you think with such a high volatility, when small caps crash, all alpha will be gone and it takes a good amount of time before equity curve recovers?

APIS India – Possible Dark Horse? (17-03-2024)
Dear Community Members,
This is my first post on this forum and I am a bit nervous looking at the skills and caliber of my fellow community members. However I hope to gain some valuable knowledge on this subject through this thread.
While going through some FMCG companies especially in the packaged food business I came across APIS India, some of the ratios caught my attention as these are ridiculously low, for example the P/E, P/B, Mcap to Sales, etc., are way lower.
A few important points i noted as below-
–Margin expansion happening, which is mainly due to change in their product mix- earlier Honey was their main product where margins are not that great and its difficult to fight with established players like Dabur etc. Now they have an extensive range and dependence on honey is reducing every year. Please see their products – Pure And Natural Products – Best Honey, Best Jam, Best Pickle, Quality Dates | Apis India
–National Head Sales and Marketing is an ex Tropicana/VBL executive- seems to be an aggressive guy.
–Noticed Milind Soman as one of their Brand Ambassadors.
– TTM Sales is 314 Cr while MCap is only 105 Cr.
– P/E 2.96
I would like to have your valuable inputs on this company as it could be a dark horse…
Regards,

Thanks for putting out your analysis sir, would like to ask few questions.
First revenue of CPL hasn’t grown over the period of 12 years, in 2012 It did around 80 cr and last year revenue was 85 cr, Hardly any growth over such a long duration when there was a boom in edtech in last 4-5 years during and after COVID.
And i see huge short term loans given by them which is far more than their revenue which I am not able to understand.
Would like to know your view and how you read such financials ?
