As long as there is no collusion nor any attempts to manipulate the share price, it is not the investee to be blamed for accepting funds from such an investor…especially warrants which were issued long back.

Sequence of events:

1. Announced amalgamation with another promoter firm with share swap

BSE observed meger would lead to promoter holding to 82%

2. Preferential allotment to non promoter investors which include Authum and Quantum family office

This reduced promoter stake from 74.06% to 61.88%

3. Merger which again increased the promoter stake in the combined entity to 72.07%.

The question is –

Did these investors see hidden potential in the merged entity or
Is it a quid pro quo with assured IRR ?

The concern here is whether promoters colluded with a company to proposefully inflate the price. That may not have happened and promoters could have been just innocent but that’s Probably the reason for the 20%.fall.

I think swing trading is picking up recently in India. Whether that is good or bad is not up to me.

Another risk to be considered is will they be able to adapt quickly to the EV revolution?

How good is their management. Are they quick on their feet. Have to consider these before I invest. But it is becoming increasingly difficult to do these.
