@hitesh2710 ji that’s impacable! Is there way for new learners like me to know about your current companies allocation?
Also are you always fully invested? Do you invest in those 10 companies for long run or for swing? How do you determine when to sell-off?

SmallCap Hunter : Trying to find the dark horses with triggers (16-02-2024)
Unlike the future, the present is knowable. What is not knowable is when the trend will turn. In stock market it is impossible to do right thing at right time. But The benefit of recognizing where we stand in the trend is that it enables us to take appropriate action. Rich returns make the investors less afraid of losing money than missing out of fat gains. In these conditions we should lower our expectations and proceed with caution. What does that entail in practical terms? I am not saying to exit but it might involve shifting from highly overvalued stock to less aggressive stock or making sure that we won’t need liquidity in the event of trend reversal. We can’t control the market but we can control our response.

The froth in small and midcaps space is there since quite a while. But we cannot wish away market froth and bubbles. They will finish their due course before bursting. And when that happens is anybody’s guess. And if you know how to ride them, the last phase of a bubble is actually when maximum money is made. (And also lost if caught in the storm on the wrong foot.)
Strategy has not changed much. I am largely fully invested, Only thing I do off and on is to book atleast partial profits in some positions where I feel stock price run up seems unsustainable.
Regarding parking space, these days a lot of options are available in the large cap high quality names. Stocks like ITC, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, etc are in corrective phase and once these show first signs of a change in trend, these can be good parking space with potential of some upsides too .
@Shakti_Srivastava I usually do not exceed a number of 10 stocks in my portfolio. It’s only when I can spot some kind of sectoral cyclical plays that I increase this number to accomodate a basket of stocks from that particular sector. Just as some people are not comfortable with concentration, I am not too comfortable with diversification. Here there is no right or wrong. Depends on which style suits your temperament.
Green Hydrogen as a Fuel – Indian Companies leading the Green Revolution (16-02-2024)
Hydrogen as theme, it would be better to look at pipelines, hydrogen storage and maybe a few of processor companies. No point buying RIL or any of the large caps as even at peak Hydrogen will form small percentage of revenue.
InoxCVA, Confi petro and time techno are involved or contemplating hydrogen storage.
Transport is still up in the air.
Processors will need to understand who will supply key reactive chemicals or equipment for this.
Coal Gasification with Carbon Capture could be a game changer for India-Shifting Coal from an Energy Commodity to a Chemical Feedstock (16-02-2024)
The problem here is we do not have any anticipated revenue numbers of this investment.
Secondly, we do not have an timeline of commisioning. So, it’s still wait and watch on the entire thing.
Invested in both GAIL and Coal India but not for above reason.

Agree – it makes sense to hold; more so because of the eco-friendly products and reasonable valuations
