Federal Bank – A Turnaround banking Story? (27-01-2024)
Federal Bank has consistently delivered NIMs at the bottom of the curve (competition is far ahead). While so far the Provisions have been limited, we don’t know the future, given proposed changes in the asset profile. So far the aggression in its asset profile hasn’t resulted in improved NIMs
Going ahead the fight for deposits will only intensify and the interest rates (on assets) are going to start falling. In such a scenario, with such lower NIMs how will it sustain profitability
Migrating out of Zerodha (27-01-2024)
Yes do update @Rejulal
Another point I find annoying is
- forces you to buy via BSE as default, unless you manually select NSE.
- Holdings – if you select to see graph/depth etc it shows in BSE and not NSE
There is no option on settings to set NSE as the default for buying.
I guess it’s because Zerodha has invested in BSE.
Eco Recycling Limited (Ecoreco (27-01-2024)
I think the key consideration is whether the property was adequately insured or not – there is an insurance premium of about 7 lakhs in the P&L. Also they were constructing an additional capacity of 18k tons and this was also nearing completion – I could not find proper reference if this was on the same site or a different one. If it was different, it would mean that bigger part of their capacity was safe
Sky Gold ltd. – Will it reach the sky? (27-01-2024)
Superb Q3FY24 results.
-Sales up 72% YoY.
-EBITDA up 48% YoY.
-PAT up 40% YoY.
-EPS growth of 15% YoY.
EPS growth lower than PAT growth due to issue of new shares in Q3FY24.
Waaree Renewables – old Sangam Advisors – can it keep on renewing? (27-01-2024)
@Worldlywiseinvestors Sir waaree renewables sales growth Q3 2024 was amazing. Earlier PE was 598.7 but after eps growth it is 65.1 and it’s median PE is 55.9.
So is it worth to buy at this point or it is expensive now.
Its 1 year return is phenomenal.
Please advice how to look this company at this valuation.

Selecting a broker (27-01-2024)
I have JM finance accounts since 8 years . Frankly they are worst brokers. They don’t care for small clients. Any given day they will not allow trading in sme or any penny stocks or asm / gsm shares.
Once they allowed to buy me sme shares and next day they didn’t allowed to sell that same shares
My portfolio updates and investment journey (27-01-2024)
Thanks for a detailed reply.
I agree despite being in some turbulent times the last decade and half while seeing turbulence has been great for investing.
I am not losing sleep over my investments as i have large exposure outside equity build last and current year alongside monthly sip in equity. But Incrementally I will investing my savings in Equity regardless of its movement. I do anticipate an fall in broader markets and defence/Renewable themes.
Thanks for your perspective.
