I used to work in a government department and this is not a hearsay, first hand information – this company regularly engages in giving kickbacks to the people in my ex-employer, so much so that the part of the department where this company interacts with the department was coveted by people just because strides was there, i don’t know why nobody has been able to find any flaws in balance sheet, i am not an expert in it otherwise i myself would have checked it. One thing i am 100 percent sure is that the companies which usually engage in kickbacks have a lot of other issues as well, like one company named kavveri telecom, it is also listed, that company actually transferred its business to an entity privately held by promoter, recently that stock doubled, i am not aware of latest developments but that stock had a lot of cases against its promoter mr reddy of which market was not even aware of. Just be a bit careful guys, i am a newbie to investing, running my own business so not that active as well but i thought this might be of help, and this is the most i can offer to this wonderful platform as per my capabilities.

The Hybrid technology’s success demonstrated by Maruti with Grand Vitaraa is encouraging. Plus, they ll be out with a full fledged EV by next yr
But … Can’t be bearish on Bajaj Auto too. Chetak is a really good product. Their JV with Triumph should do really well. Should be a a really good competitor for RE. KTM, Husqvarna – where Bajaj is the majority shareholder is doing well across Europe. There r reasons to be upbeat on Bajaj Auto as well

They have reduced 20 crores from the cash flow from operations because of ‘Bonus shares issued’. I did not understand why would this impact the cash flow statement. Can someone explain?

Agree and if they have underreported revenues (to save tax), that imply that actual Profits for the company would have been higher vs reported and on PE basis, stock is even cheaper (~30X FY24 PE)…… hope management has learnt a lesson in a very hard way and will put better financial/ethical controls and compliance in the organisation. This fall is definitely a great opportunity to accumulate (overreaction) and I hope this event is one-off.
On this whole topic itself, Management should clarify with IT department and should engage with investor community.
