Not sure what company is trying to tell but I remember watching on CNBC that Ola electric has filed for IPO and it is demanding valuation around 60000 Cr. This is for loss making entity. I guess that’s why all auto stock has run up in the recent past. If someone is viewing Ola as disruptive then we also need to take into consideration that existing companies are catching up fast with sales of their electric vehicle. It is also interesting that ahead of IPO, Ola has given huge discount and bumped up its sales figure.

I had first known about this biz in 2010 when a friend of mine (CA, now no more) wanted to set up this up. It had intrigued me.
One of the key concerns was price sensitivity and unorganised sector competition. My friend had signed an agreement to off take used tires from Middle East which was plus for project, after offsetting logistics costs.
In my opinion, in such businesses the quality of management is very vital. Much of opportunity is embedded in what is not apparent.

There is a situation with regards to shipping cost going up due to tension in red sea area. Which sectors/stocks do you see impacted on account of this disruption. Would you factor in such disruption in your sell decisions right away or one should give more time as it may settle down in a matter of days/weeks?

In paper industry case, the capex are large and hence they dont come every year. Still they have announced one plant in ludhiana which is happening now and one pulp mill that will come into place after FY 25. Also, they have acquired one company in mono layer packaging recently for about 90 Crores. Some or the other thing is going on. Also, the capacity utilisation is pending in the 2 companies that they acquired (Horizon and Securipax)

Nuclear has been a good option for grid to be 90~100% green.
the article is mostly about invention on thorium and higher efficiency and lower spent wastage.
Based on what i know nuclear, again a limited deposit, could only be a good option for green grid, provided it offers a smaller sized as well as shorter start-up cycle nuclear plants.someday smaller&shorter startup cycled nuclear plants may become reality.
But, the most cleaner grid is solar+hydrogen.The battery banks/storage have found its place in existing so called greener grid but that is according to me cant be considered 100% green.
