MOIL Limited, a government enterprise, reported a 35% year-on-year increase in manganese ore production in November 2023. The company has also achieved a remarkable growth of 43% year-on-year in the current fiscal year, with production of 10.9 lakh tonnes of manganese ore from April to November 2023. Sales growth for November and April to November 2023 was 18% and 52% respectively. The company has been focusing on exploration, with a significant increase in core drilling activities. The CEO expressed confidence in sustaining the high performance levels.

The harsh portfolio! (04-12-2023)
My understanding of Parag Parikh MF house is that, they like to invest in companies which are simple to understand, with positive consistent cashflows and very low debt.
Since L&T has L&T Finance as one of its subsidiary, they will always have high Debt/Equity ratio at consolidated level. L&T is not simple business to understand with presence in Infra, construction/real estate, Metro, Finance and IT. That could be one of the reasons why there is no L&T.
Till 2021, there ROE at consolidated level was below 14 which was not comparable with some other businesses / large caps.
This is based on my understanding of Parag Parikh investment philosophy.

Rajesh Exports: Time to examine this story seriously? (04-12-2023)
I think Rajesh export management need to be more transperent for minority share holders. they seems to be just working in the business but not bothered about sharing information to their own share holders.
last investor presentation was done in 2020,where they mentioned about their focus on retail which will increse their margins. post that there is no update on retail business progress nor we are able to see its impact on their profitability number.
