With no promoter skin in the game, can they really have a clear and focussed stratergy to achieve the required scale and improvement in margins/profitability?

That is true.
If one really wants to learn trading, and as trading is as nuanced as investing, if not more, one solution is to take more trades, churn is more, and if the capital is limited, brokerage charges should not make additional impact on the PnL. So going with a broker who charges the lowest is better, although there could be some shortcomings with such brokers, as we pay less.

That what i thought , blended rate means a regulatory business where your upside are capped by regulation … Companies like at ntpc , powergrid cant charge more than 14.5 of roe on invested capital to keep cost minimum , hence those are bad businesses…

This company was recently demerged out of Mirza International (erstwhile Mirza Tanners) and it is worthwhile to create a separate thread for this company.
The valuations seem to be attractive (ROCE44.8 % and ROE 35.0 %) as compared to the listed peers such as Relaxo, Campus, Metro and Bata. The OPM was 20% in the recent quarter and the EPS was 3.38 (~13.5 Annualized, that translates to PE ~33)
