Looks like the stock price is already running ahead of improving fundamentals. Lets see what happens. Although this year they should report slight growth. Sometimes price makes top and bottom much before the actual events. I was wrong last year lets see if I’m correct this year.
Technically the stock made a gap up before q1fy24 earnings. Gaps before earning or after earning are very powerful and signifies a change of price trend.

I think we should consider the other liability items as well in the balance sheet as the company has to pay for them and they are significant:

Couple of things I wish to understand:
- How come the open offer is at a price higher than what the management sold at? 325 vs 285! Does it indicate the short term base for the stock? with the new promotors willingness to purchase price 325
- Also why did the price run up during the late Friday trade, it seems the deal got leaked yet the market price kept inching up… was the market hoping to extract more for surrendering their shares… however point 6.3 in the PAC clearly states “The Open Offer is not conditional upon any minimum level of acceptance pursuant to the terms” of Regulation 19(1) of the SEBI (SAST) Regulations.
- What is the background of the new acquirers; can they really take this to the next level?

Need to see credit impairment with these two data points . ECL has not gone up much & Need to get clarity from management but receivables are still in considered good bracket .there is a increase of 6 cr in dues past 6 months vs past year .

@Venky_Thiriveedhi What is the company’s strength? Distribution or VFX? Is the company following its core competency. Take Rs.17 crore calculate what percentage of balance sheet is deployed into distribution rights. If this movie doesn’t work out what will be the accounting treatment of this Rs17 crore? This calculation will tell you what is the risk it has taken. For any distributor usually the 7-8% s the commission of theatrical share. Do you have any idea about the agreement it has done with the Ayalan movie producer for the share of rights it has taken? Is is a good investment that it has done? Also I would like to ask you that as an investor what probability do you attach to this film becoming a hit. Can you please share your fair value of this company’s stock price and explain how you arrived at that fair value.
