How can issuing warrants at a 52% discount be a positive to existing shareholders. If you need money, do a rights issue or preferential placement at max. 25% discount. Looks like a major red flag.
As per the results declared for Q4 FY 24, standalone entity employee expanses are only 1.37 crore while for consolidated it is more than 14 crores which looks ok. The above figure is for standalone not for subsidiaries it seems??
I think this is probably just a captive power plant for own needs. Typically this is sourcing renewable power as part of their ESG approach, and if they use more than 51% of the power, they need to take a minimum of 26% stake. Many companies are following this practice. A quick google search came up with this Supreme Court Clarifies Ownership, Consumption Terms for Captive Power Projects.
This acquisition makes sense. Many Dmart stores have a lot of parking space. And with the amount of footfalls they get every weekend, there are a lot of vehicles going in and out of that store.
They probably want to set up charging stations in their parking lots, so that customers with EVs can charge their vehicles while shopping. I don’t see this acquisition to have a direct impact on the core business. It is a move to create a better shipping experience and increase their services at their stores.
Still no sign of fiscal stimulus from China—just the same old policy statements being repeated.

Can anyone help me understand that why NMDC, GPIL are falling even though iron ore prices are increasing sharply worldwide?(Indian market corrected till yesterday but today there is a rebound but still iron ore stocks are falling).Today the iron ore price is hovering around 112$ level. Is there any other angle which I am missing?
