PCB Manufacturing is backward integration for most of the EMS companies. Right now most of the EMS companies have SMT lines to assemble PCBs whereas PCBs itself get imported from China. As we don’t have lot of PCB manufacturers yet in India there is no anti dumping duty on PCBs imported from China. However recently PCB manufacturers delegation met GOVT to put anti dumping duty on imported PCBs as they can scale PCB manufacturing as well. Many EMS companies are building capacities for PCB manufacturing and BCC FUBA is one of them with capability.

KRBL- The King of Basmati rice (30-08-2023)
@raku The share was trading around 400 or below when they annouced the buyback, so if a person had 500 shares bought around announcement time or just before that his avg buy price would be less than 2,00,000 which falls in retail category. Company is buying 65 lakh shares ( 325 cr )
It seems very unfair for the investors who had shown faith in the company and invested more than 2 lakh.
In Retail category buyback ratio is 51 shares for 291 holding shares and for general it is 5 shares for every 208 shares
Commodity and Cyclical Plays (30-08-2023)
I’m seeing a sudden movement in stock prices of dye companies as i’m invested i 3 companies :-valiant,kiri and bhageria.2 of these companies do quarterly concalls and the industry has been seeing the worst headwinds it has ever faced due to fall in demand in the west. both the companies in the concall have mentioned they are bullish of a demand uptick in Q3 and Q4.
One way to track would be to look at how textile industries perform ,is there any stock or index which i can see to track the textile industry?

I think the buyback is kind of a joke if you hold more than 500 shares of krbl as you entitled to only 5 shares out of 208 equity shares in your demat ,If you hold less than 500 shares you are entitled to 51 shares out of 292 shares.this is considering if there is 100% participation rate.
This is extremely unfair if you fall in the general category of shareholders as small shareholders get 17% entitlement ratio vs only 2.5% to big shareholders.
Mudit’s Portfolio (Passively Active) (30-08-2023)
Thanks for the advice. But I am not going to follow market movements much. I am determined to keep watch on business performance mostly. In that also i will be focussing more on small cap and midcap companies largely, and just a bit on large cap. Just to give an example, keeping close watch on Bajaj finance and ICICI bank type stocks wont make much of a difference, as hardly anything happens over a short period of time.
Kama Holdings Limited (30-08-2023)
I also made the same mistake. Got out at 12695 at pre market 2 days back!! Then got to know that kama holdings is declaring bonus shares!!

It is indeed sad that all the laws and regulations are bend for one person.
