In a TV Interview with CNBC, Raghav Mentioned that ‘Artificial marble and Semi-conductors is some of the newer diversification company is looking at given they have access to one of the highest qualities of Silica in India’.
This info I believe was private before this, but mgmt has now said it over public forum and I believe this is the reason there was a pop of 15% on that day.
These are at only R&D stage as of now, there is no material developments as of now.
Rest of the interview was basically a summary of annual reports of last 2-3 yrs – same stuff nothing different.

Kalpesh’s Portfolio (23-08-2024)
Just curious, what’s your bond:(equity + cash) split as %?
With recent good portfolio appreciation I’m on the verge of getting out of corporate, would like to get good ideas of how to plan sustenance account + growth portfolio.
Till now my idea was to simply have 5 years worth of expenses in (savings + FD) and rest for growth portfolio.

Piccadily Agro Industries Ltd (23-08-2024)
Not sure about this. YoY, Indri volume growth was 236% this quarter right? Then how would annual sales growth only be 50%?
eMudhra – building seamless digital and paperless experiences (23-08-2024)
I have question related to close relatives of “promoters” being classified as “public” holders. As per BSE page ( Shareholding Pattern Public ShareHolder ) Aishwarya Arvind and Lakshmi Kaushik are part of “public” in share holding. However, as per Emudhra’s last annual report in BSE website, on page 323, they have been classified as “key management personnel”. As per SEBI regulation ( https://www.sebi.gov.in/legal/regulations/sep-2018/securities-and-exchange-board-of-india-issue-of-capital-and-disclosure-requirements-regulations-2018-_40328.html ), my understanding is immediate relative of a promoter should be classified as a promoter too. On page 5 we have:
(pp)
“promoter group
” include
s
:
i)
the promoter;
ii)
an immediate relative of the promoter (i.e. any spouse of that person, or any parent,
brother, sister or child of the person or of the spouse);
Can the persons mentioned above be part of “public” in share holding? I am sure I must be missing something. I just wanted to know more about regulations that govern these classifications.

@hitesh2710 Sir, hope you are doing good.
I would like to express my immense respect yet again for your deep insights in not just momentum, fundamental, technical aspects of proven businesses but also the vision to see and assess the narratives of unproven so-called new age businesses.
I remember couple years back when new-age was the buzz word and plethora of such internet etc. related businesses were coming with stupendous narratives and then came the big fall when capital became costly and path to profitability became a question in all such narratives.
It was during this hype & middle of the fall that we were discussing some thoughts either in this thread or in some other investor portfolio thread when you had expressed some positive thoughts on business model and future sustainability of Zomato among all others. Most of other boarders were interested in the Nykaa narrative but you could cut the Wheat from the chaff
Two years down the line, among all such so called new-age firms, the real recovery has happened only in Zomato. Rest all proved to be chaff (at least so far).
(I was unable to find the posts where these thoughts were discussed, otherwise would have linked them here.)
Huge respect for the clarity of thought yet again on various aspects of Investing! I think you were born to invest
Best Wishes
