Jagdambika Pal, Chairman of the Joint Committee of Parliament on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, will be visiting Karnataka. He will meet with farmers who were served notices over alleged encroachment on Waqf properties. The notices have since been withdrawn. Pal will also meet with Karnataka BJP leaders. The BJP has raised concerns over the issue.
