CPPIB sells 2.8% stake in Delhivery for Rs 908 crore via open market (24-04-2024)
The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board on Wednesday divested a 2.8 per cent stake in supply chain and logistics firm Delhivery for Rs 908 crore through an open market transaction.
US-based financial services company Capital Group, Fidelity Investments, HSBC, and the Master Trust Banker Japan Ltd A/C HSBC Indian Equity Mother Fund were the buyers of Delhivery shares on the NSE.
According to the block deal data available with the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) sold 2,04,50,000 shares, amounting to a 2.8 per cent stake in Delhivery.
The shares were disposed of at an average price of Rs 444.30 per piece, taking the transaction value to Rs 908.59 crore.
After the latest transaction, CPPIB's shareholding has declined to 3.16 per cent from 5.96 per cent (as of March 2024 shareholding data showed on the BSE).
On Wednesday, shares of Delhivery fell 0.09 per cent to close at Rs 448 apiece on the NSE.

National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Wednesday introduced derivative contracts on Nifty Next 50 index, which received a positive response from market participants.
More than 375 trading members from across the country participated in the index derivatives, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) said in a statement.
The first day witnessed 1,223 contracts traded worth Rs 78.16 crore in Futures and 1,724 contracts worth Rs 1.55 crore of premium turnover in Options, it added.
The trading members involved in the execution of the initial trade include East India Securities Limited and Samco Securities Limited.
The Nifty Next 50 index provides representation to large capitalisation stocks beyond the Nifty 50 index.

JNK India’s Rs 650 crore IPO subscribed 1.03 times on day 2 of offer (24-04-2024)
The initial public offer of heating equipment maker JNK India got fully subscribed on the second day of subscription on Wednesday.
The Rs 650 crore initial share sale received bids for 1,14,14,556 shares against 1,10,83,278 shares on offer, translating into 1.03 times subscription, as per NSE data.
The portion for non institutional investors got subscribed 1.25 times, while the category for Retail Individual Investors (RIIs) received 1.13 times subscription. The quota for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) got subscribed 68 per cent.
The Initial Public Offer (IPO) of JNK India received 49 per cent subscription on the first day of bidding on Tuesday.
The IPO has a fresh issue of up to Rs 300 crore and an offer for sale of up to 84,21,052 equity shares.
Those offloading shares in the OFS are promoters Goutam Rampelli, Dipak Kacharulal Bharuka, JNK Heaters Co Ltd, and Mascot Capital and Marketing Pvt Ltd, and a shareholder Milind Joshi.
