The US economy seems to have got a vote of confidence with the Fed raising its benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 0.25%-to-0.50% at the conclusion of its two-day meeting. Global cues are upbeat. S&P 500 has gained 1.45%. The Dow jumped 1.28% and Nasdaq added 1.52% .
