That is what I was saying. There is difference between:
- information might already be (inefficiently) incorporated in the prices, and
- market would have discounted it anyway if there is anything to worry about.
If markets appropriately discounts anything that is to worry about or be happy about, then buying the broad indices is the best one can do.
