Sensex rises 350 points, Nifty tops 17,800; M&M, Asian Paints lead gainers
Earlier today, Asian stocks opened higher, as another round of weak US data offered some hope that the Federal Reserve will temper its pace of interest rate hikes. MSCI’s index of Asia-Pacific shares outside Japan was up by 0.21 per cent.
