Classic Legends including Jawa yezdi is a minute part of M&M. Although their acceptance is growing nationally, their sales are nowhere close to the likes of Royal Enfield. Jawa Yezdi still remain an exotic sight on the roads.
As per July data, Jawa Yezdi collectively ranked 12th on the sales charts with 2900 bikes sold. Enfield ranks 7th with 40000 bikes sold. Hero ranks 1st and sold 320000 units. Jawa Yezdi market share as of now is 0.29% vs. 3.82% of Royal Enfield and 34% of Hero.
Now, peugeot is another subsidiary. It ranks 9th in Europe where Honda is first.
