Sea of red! Powell’s hawkish pivot sends D-Street into freefall

At 9.27 am, the BSE Sensex was trading 1,098 points or 1.87 per cent lower at 57,760.47. It had opened over 1,300 points lower. Nifty50 was trading at 17,240.50, down 318.40 points or 1.81 per cent. It, too, fell below 17,200 at open.
