There is an ongoing tussle between ONGC and Reliance Industries, as ONGC accuses RIL of “deliberately disgorging” natural gas worth Rs 30,000 crore from the PSU’s well in the Krishna-Godavari basin. The Delhi High Court has now put the ball in the Centre’s court, saying that once the expert panel gives its report on the case, government will have to arbitrate within six months.
