The BSE Mid-cap Index is trading up 0.08% at 10,511, whereas BSE Small-cap Index is trading up 0.58% at 10,693. Some buying activity is seen in IT, consumer durables, teck and realty sectors, while capital goods, metal, auto, banking, pharma and oil&gas sector is showing weakness on BSE.The INDIA VIX is up 1.43% at 25.05. It hit a high of 25.26 and a low of 23.26.
