Just Dial shares surged as much as 13.68 per cent in the noon trade on Monday after the company informed stock exchanges that it has launched its latest Android App ‘Search Plus’ on the Google Play Store for users. The company has also submitted its new iOS App to Apple App Store and is expected to go live shortly.
At 12.03 pm, Just Dial was trading 12.08 per cent higher at Rs 915. It opened at Rs 832 and had touched a high and low of Rs 928 and Rs 831, in trade so far.

Just Dial’s new visually appealing multi-purpose Search Plus app is aimed at enhancing experience for its users by providing a one-stop online solution for a variety of user requirements pertaining to information retrieval, search and online transactions.
According to market analysts, “Search Plus launch is positive for Just Dial stocks; it would help company to generate incremental revenues from non monetised vendors in the medium term.”
For the quarter ended June 2015, the company posted revenue of Rs 168.62 crore, up 24.88 per cent, against Rs 135.03 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Net profit of Just Dial jumped 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 33.17.
