I am fully in agreement with this train of thought and my analogy was specifically to re-enter after realizing some gains for people who brought it at lower levels given the overall current bear scenario.
If we exit at good levels then my loss would be 10% LTCG and if I re-enter below 10% of the rally with double the capital for next couple of years, is also a good strategy.
