Yes you can definitely check the total debt based on annual reports. The
entire group might be a bit of a maze, but you can find the annual reports
on Trendlyne for 2/3 of them (maybe Adani Enterprises, Transmission and
Green Energy) and see the non-current liabilities on the balance sheet.
You’ll get a fair split of term loans vs bonds too from here.
For banks – it’s not necessary for companies to mention which banks have
loaned them money. So you can’t be a 100% sure until things go south. That
said, most big loans have come from PSUs (difficult to know which of these
specifically). Also Adani Enterprises in their latest quarterly report gave
a split of PSU vs Private banks (private bank debt was around 3-4% if I
remember right).
