The NSE Nifty opened at 7,887 hitting a low of 7,853 before signing off with a gain of 70 points or 0.89% at 7,899. On the other hand, oil & gas, capital goods and realty stock were among the major draggers. Even the mid-cap and the small-cap stocks were under pressure.
