My statement was more generic not pharma specific either.Check TCS,Asian paints,HCL,Hero Motocorp etc . If your argument is that these are in different business lines , then I agree but then Divis ,Cipla,Sun pharma are not exactly same type of pharma business.
I do not think FIIs taken as a group are any more savvy than others but they move as a group and depending on Macro/geopolitical issues , quicker on the draw in booking profits .
But overall, I do not really see how FII action is relevant for a long term investor unless you buy when they sell . Because they onlý sell as a group due to external issues . For company specific issues both sides sell together .
