The BSE Mid-cap closed up 10,522 at 2.23%, while BSE Small-cap closed up 10,738 at 2.49%. HDFC, NMDC, Cairn India, Vedanta, Ambuja Cement, Bank of Baroda, Tata Steel, Lupin, BPCL and Kotak Bank were among the gainers on NSE, whereas BHEL, Bajaj-Auto, Tata Motors, Coal India, Hero MotoCorp and Wipro were among the losers today.
