Why is the stock stock in the INR 75 range: Other than the technical factors, my take is that insders are selling their ESOPs. In the previous qtr it was Mr. Deva and this qtr is Ramesh Ramanathan Executive Chairman Sterling Resorts. In my considered assessment, the Company should look at Buybacks and reinstating Dividends. The employee team while have done an admirably good job through Covid, have received not just ESOPs but also a effective shorter vesting period to ESOP while Shareholders too have supported the company and need returns. The one way the TSR can increase is when the company fixes its Capital Allocation Policy. This does not inspire confidence as no direction given to investors.
