Hi Harsh – Sorry for asking this so directly but is there any model excel template that you would like to share that can help in calculating such things and keeping proper record of things(comparing return with index, IRRetc. ). I am investing money since 2014 but never gave importance to such returns tracking. I feel in investing returns via stocks are not linear and a individual investor does not need to beat index each year. However, I would love to know how are we calculating returns esp. when there so much churn throughout. Thank you.
