Qn. Can someone comment on the cost-competitiveness of the Indian chlor-alkali industry in general and of GUJALKALI in particular. I ask this because it seems that chlorine realizations are barely positive if at all, and given that globally soda-ash realizations are good only because of anti-dumping duty imposed by GoI (which the user industries are trying to remove). If the anti-dumping duty were not there, would the chlor-alkali industry in India still be profitable.
Any light on this will be appreciated.
