The BSE Sensex opened at 25,496, touched an intra-day low of 25,287, and finally ended with a gain of 162 points at 25,778. The NSE Nifty opened negative at 7,725 and hitting a low of 7,691 before signing off with a gain of 48 points or 0.6% at 7,843.
