After trying out few Equity advisory services, my experience is that, they have too many different services or packages like Small Cap, Mid Cap, Large Cap, Value investing, Micro Caps etc. which are not useful for most of the investors.
Once they see some success they will keep coming up with new or modified variants of the services.
An investor need only a portfolio recommendation service, based on his/her Risk appetite, which mostly you will find rarely. I think, only few have this kind of offering and that also may not suit everyone.
Hence, if possible, an investor should build his/her own portfolio through in depth research which is suitable to his/her style of investing.
I am still using one of the equity advisory service but finding it difficult to fully use it, due to the multiple offerings which they have and too many recommendations. I need to filter based on my own research, analysis and risk appetite.
Let us see, I am thinking of using it for some more time.
