As per my experience and analysis, I believe that, following stocks should be retained for a very long time:
HDFC BANK
IEX
BAJAJ FINANCE
ICICIGI or HDFCLIFE
CDSL
PIDILITE
ASIAN PAINTS may face more competition in future. So some monitoring is needed.
Some of these stocks have compounded money in the past and should continue to do so.
HDFC LIFE and IEX have a long tailwind ahead.
Rest of the stocks will require quarterly monitoring as some of those are exposed to US FDA and few others might face cyclic headwinds.
This is my high level analysis. I might be wrong in my analysis, as often there will be surprises in future and some of these may also compound wealth.
Overall, good stock selection.
