Cyient’s stock rose by over 9% after it announced a 6% increase in net profit for the March 2023 quarter, reporting a net profit of Rs 163 crore. The revenue from operations during the quarter also rose by 48% to Rs 1,751 crore. Furthermore, the company announced the retirement of Ajay Aggarwal, Chief Financial Officer, and the appointment of Prabhakar Atla as the new CFO. The stock has outperformed the Nifty50, giving returns of 43.5% over a 12-month period.
