Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized former Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah for seeking votes in the name of his retirement from active politics. Modi said that the people of Karnataka will not choose a “tired and defeated” Congress but a BJP teaming with enthusiasm. The Prime Minister’s jibe was aimed at Siddaramaiah, who recently announced that this would be his last election.
