The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty opened on a flat note on Wednesday tracking Asian markets. At 9.18 am, Sensex was down 31.23 points at 26,901.65. Similarly, Nifty was down 4.20 points at 8,148.70 during the same time.

Inox Wind: Japanese brokerage house Nomura has started coverage on Inox Wind at ‘buy’ with a target of Rs 497 per share, saying the company is well placed with India’s renewable sector at an inflection point owing to reinstated incentives for the sector and the govt’s push for 75 GW of wind capacity by 2022.
ICICI Bank: Country’s largest private sector lender ICICI Bank has also increased its spreads on home loan rates and not passed on entire benefit of base rate cuts to new borrowers.
Indiabulls Housing Finance: Indiabulls Housing Finance has lowered its lending rates by 0.25 per cent to 9.60 per cent from the existing 9.85 per cent.
Aditya Birla Nuvo: The company would roll out renewable energy platform focused on developing utility-scale solar power plants in India in association with Abraaj Group.
NTPC and BEL: Government has embarked on global roadshows at four locations, including the US and the UK, to attract investments for its big-ticket stake sale in the country’s largest power producer NTPC and BEL that may fetch around Rs 6,600 crore to the exchequer.
Bank of Maharashtra: The bank on Tuesday said it has received shareholders’ approval to raise Rs 394 crore by issuing 10.51 crore equity shares on preferential basis to the government.
Axis Bank: Country’s third largest private lender Axis Bank introduced a new slab for its home loan borrowers with offers starting at 9.60 per cent onward. The newly introduced slab is for loans up to Rs 28 lakh, an official spokesperson of the bank said.
