Senior NCP leader, Ajit Pawar, has denied the rumours that the tripartite Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance is ruptured, and the necessary efforts are being taken. He also denounced the confusion created over his absence from the press conference in Mumbai held by Sharad Pawar on Friday. Ajit Pawar blamed the media and his detractors in politics responsible for his “atmosphere of confusion”. Sharad Pawar supported Ajit Pawar and said there was no truth in the rumours about him joining BJP. Sharad Pawar has withdrawn the decision to step down as NCP chief, according to Ajit Pawar.
