Modi accuses Congress of trying to “divide Karnataka from India”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused Congress of promoting separatism in Karnataka and secretly meeting diplomats from countries hostile to India. He also criticised the party for appeasement politics and supporting terrorists. Modi also accused Congress of opposing laws passed by BJP, indicating this will impair the state’s development and drive investors away. He promised to develop the state and repay its support with interest if re-elected.
