Authorities ramp up security measures for Karnataka assembly polls
Authorities have identified around 12,000 constituencies as critical, Karnataka’ s Additional DGP(law and order) Alok Kumar told ET. “We have categorised constituencies like Varuna, Channapatna, Hubli-Dharwad Central, and Hassan as critical. Officers of the Superintendent of Police (SP) level or Additional SP level will be posted in these places,” he said.
